Wu Wei Xiao Du Yin (our Herbal Fab Five)

An ancient TCM ingredient composed of 5 different herbs, this formula for promoting skin health has been used and passed down in China for over 2,000 years. It consists of Japanese honeysuckle (jin yin hua), wild chrysanthemum flower (ye ju hua), dandelion (pu gong ying), Chinese violet herb (zi hua di ding), and semiaquilegia root tubers (tian kui zi). Effective at clearing away heat, detoxifying the skin, and supporting skin renewal, this formula is gentle enough for extra sensitive skin – like that of your intimate area.

Does the Intimate Wipe contain any harmful ingredients?
The Intimate Wipe has no added parabens, phthalates, preservatives, artificial fragrances, dyes, sulfates, silicones, mineral oils, animal derivatives or alcohol.  

Does the Intimate Wipe contain any genetically modified products?
This product has been formulated without genetically modified organisms.

Is the Intimate Wipe vegan?
Yes, this product is considered vegan.    

Were any animals tested or harmed in the process?
No animals were tested or harmed in the process of development and production of this product and all ingredients are free of animal derivatives. We believe in testing on humans, not animals.

I have sensitive skin. Can I use this product?
Under the supervision of a dermatologist, leading third party product testing laboratory Eurofins conducted tests on this product and determined it to be safe and suitable for sensitive skin.

Does this product really work?
This product has been tested by leading third party product testing laboratory Eurofins under the supervision of a dermatologist which concluded that 97% of the subjects reported improvement in skin problems such as stinging, redness, dryness, tightness and discomfort after 7 days of consecutive use (sample size = 32).

How does the formulation work to target odor?
Odor in the intimate area is a result of sweat, build up of skin, discharge and bacteria, as well as inflammation, infection and wounds from dryness or friction. Our Herbal Fab Five formula (Wu Wei Xiao Du Yin) works to neutralize odor by creating an environment that clears head and toxins, so that bacteria and inflammation cannot survive. Odor is neutralized, not masked.

Will the product disrupt my pH?
Our products are expertly formulated to closely align with the natural pH value of the vagina.

Does this contain ingredients that affect or mimic hormones?
No, our products do not contain any ingredients known to affect or mimic estrogen, progesterone, or any other hormones. We are formulated without parabens and phthalates which are considered endocrine disruptors.

Is this product safe for use if pregnant or breastfeeding?
Our products are formulated with ingredients considered safe for use by pregnant and breastfeeding women. Please consult your healthcare provider for individual recommendations.

Can I use this product every day? Yes, you can use the Intimate Wipe on your vulva every day, multiple times a day. Our formula is gentle and effective.

Can I use this wipe on the rest of my body? Yes, this product is safe to use on all areas of your body, including those that are more prone to sweat glands and bacteria, like your underarms.

Can I use this product if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?  Antevorta products are formulated for the vulva (external genitalia) and can be used safely from post-puberty throughout different life stages, including pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, our products have not been clinically tested specifically on pregnant women. Consult your physician before use.

Is it suitable to use this product when I'm on my period? Yes, we highly recommend using the Intimate Wipe during your period to assist in managing odor, build up, and to stay refreshed throughout the day.

Can I flush the wipe?  Yes, our wipes are made with plant-based fibers that are 100% flushable, biodegradable, and safe for sewers and septic systems per INDA/ EDANA guidelines.  

How would you describe the scent of this product?
Our Intimate Wipe is crafted using natural herbs, resulting in a neutral herbal aroma. In certain studies, it has been suggested that Citrus aurantium (bitter orange) may have mood-enhancing properties. We selected this scent to infuse a touch of joy into your daily care ritual.

How strong is the scent? The natural herbal fragrance of The Intimate Wipe is gentle and dissipates quickly.
